UPDATE on the boys! At our last urologist appointment, Dalton's creatinne levels had dropped from 0.7 to 0.43 (0.4 is normal for a 2 year old). The urolgists was uncertain as to why ... we knew it was an answer prayer -- no other explaination needed!!! His BUN levels were 90 (24 is normal) but he wasn't overly conderned with that. Dalton goes in on Tuesday to have a VCUG procedure. This is HUGE!! If he has outgrown some of the reflux, then he will go to the same status as Will with yearly monitoring. However, if it is the same he could be looking at a major surgery where they would go into his bladder and run tubes from inside his bladder to his kidneys to help offset the beating of the relux on his kidneys.
